Definition (English)
A countable noun is a noun that can be counted. (Countable noun হলো এমন বিশেষ্য যা গণনা করা যায়।)
An uncountable noun is a noun that cannot be counted individually. (Uncountable noun হলো এমন বিশেষ্য যা আলাদাভাবে গণনা করা যায় না।)
Examples:
She has three books. (তার তিনটি বই আছে।)
There is some water in the glass. (গ্লাসে কিছু পানি আছে।)

A countable noun has singular and plural forms. (Countable noun-এর একবচন ও বহুবচন রূপ আছে।)
It can take a/an in singular form. (একবচনে a/an বসতে পারে।)
Examples:
A pen is on the table. (টেবিলের উপর একটি কলম আছে।)
Two pens are on the table. (টেবিলের উপর দুটি কলম আছে।)
She has many friends. (তার অনেক বন্ধু আছে।)
